With the beauty of the Placer foothills in autumn, it is easy to see why the Auburn Fall Home Show is the largest fall home show in Northern California. With thoughts of remodeling, redecorating and preparing for the holiday season, this show is a must. Interior design vignettes, faux painting demonstrations, countertop materials, custom cabinetry and home design are integral parts of the show.


Each year, Auburn celebrates the harvest and crush by hosting 25 local Wineries and 25 exceptional Restaurants from in, and nearby, Placer County. Wineries and restaurants are thoughtfully paired to showcase the finest marriage of food and wine from the region.

We started the festival in 1997 to celebrate Auburn. This year will be another annual Community Festival and we are giving away more prize money in scarecrow, giant pumpkin, costume and recipe contests to celebrate. Come, compete, and you could take home a big check.

The Annual Autumn Art Studios Tour invites the public to discover and explore the world of visual art, get a behind the scenes look at the creative process and meet the artists within their studios and galleries.


When autumn days in the Placer County foothills are warm and the nights are cold, mandarin orange growers anxiously await the first blush of color on their fruit. Just before Thanksgiving, samples are eagerly tasted for sweetness and then long hours are spent hand-snipping each stem to bring in the first crop of the season for the Mandarin Festival (which is also the weekend before Thanksgiving)!

From 5pm to 9pm the whole community is invited to share in the holiday fun. Crafters and artists will have their wares on sale for that special one-of-a-kind Christmas gift. Great food and entertainment, pictures with Santa. Shops and restaurants open.
